The UK this year so far has enjoyed some warm days, but for the August bank holiday weekend from Saturday 24th August to Monday 26th August, we are forecast to see temperatures rise to 27°C in some parts of England, which could feel more like upwards of 30°C with little to no wind coverage.
Due to the high pressure build up over this period, causing peak temperatures, thunderstorms are also very likely to occur.
