Latest UK Weather map shows Snow hitting Britain in January

The UK may well be in for a treat for the end of January!

According to forecasters - such as 'WXCharts.com', the UK looks like snow may be making an appearance. Between January the 30th and the 31st, they predict parts of the UK, may get some snow. Especially focused on the Scottish Highlands who may receive up to 10cm of snow per hour in some places.

Although predictions are somewhat optimistic guesswork, it is great to see that the UK may get some snow this early on in the year.

Elsewhere, especially in the South of Britain, heavy rainfall is expected (no change there then...).

But all is not yet lost.

WXCharts.com predicts that on the 5th February - just under a week from the initial potential snow flurry, the UK will be hit with another potential snow flurry, this time with parts of Wales and Northern England expected to be hit. Again with up to 10cm of snow fall in places. Although rain comes with it, we are optimistic that we will get some snow settling on the ground for us to enjoy!

Unfortunately, until the time arrives, all we can do is cross our fingers (and toes) and hope their prediction is correct.
